School Readiness Program
Macarthur Kids offers a specialised School Readiness Program designed to prepare your child for a confident and successful start to school. Through a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum, we focus on building the essential foundations for learning, nurturing knowledge, skills, and attitudes that support not only school readiness but lifelong learning.
We aim to make your child’s transition to school smooth and positive, helping them become confident, capable, and engaged learners. Our goal is for children to feel excited about moving forward, embrace new challenges, and enjoy the learning journey.
Our team of qualified educators implements the Early Years Learning Framework in everyday experiences to ensure children achieve meaningful learning outcomes. Daily activities may include:
- Promoting language and cognitive development
- Planning and teaching a play-based curriculum
- Organising incursions and excursions to extend learning
- Observing and documenting children’s progress
- Supporting personal hygiene, health, and safety
- Encouraging empathy, cooperation, and respect
- Fostering positive attitudes towards learning

- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators
We also provide a Natural Learning Environment where children can explore challenging spaces, assess and manage risk, and build confidence and competence in themselves. At Macarthur Kids, we celebrate that every child is uniquely and wonderfully different.
We aim to make learning fun, meaningful, and empowering helping children enter school excited, happy, and ready to thrive.
